Excellent Opportunity to Immigrate to Canada!!!

Ontario’s new Entrepreneur Program is an excellent opportunity for foreign business owners and senior managers to obtain permanent residency in Ontario by investing to buy or establish new business in Ontario. The minimum requirements to qualify include verifiable past business experience, invest minimum of $ 0.5M outside GTA or $ 1M in GTA in profitable eligible business which you will actively manage and create at least 2 additional permanent full time jobs (business plan required), minimum personal net worth of $0.8M for outside GTA and $1.5M in GTA, proficiency in English language and exploratory visit if buying existing business. There are other factors also that enhance your chances for acceptance.

If you are applying with a Business Partner who is also seeking nomination, your partner must also meet all the minimum requirements for each factor.

Steps to participate in the Ontario Entrepreneur Stream:

A. Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI).

B. If you are invited to apply, you can submit a complete application to the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP).

C. If your application is approved, you will sign a Performance Agreement outlining the commitments you have made to invest and create jobs in the province. You will be issued a temporary work permit support letter to apply for a temporary work permit from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) in order to establish your business in Ontario.

D. If you meet the commitments of your Performance Agreement, you may be eligible to be nominated by Ontario for permanent resident status.

E. Successful nominees must apply to IRCC for permanent resident status within six (6) months of being nominated by OINP.
